Retrieving deleted photos from the iCloud

The first method which we have on our list makes use of the iCloud backup. Once you find that your photos have been deleted then what you need to do is connect your device to the internet, plug it into a power source, and lock its screen. It will automatically upload all the photos to the iCloud.

To retrieve photos from the iCloud, you need to follow these steps:

·           Go to General in the Settings and then enter the Reset Menu. Here, tap the ‘Erase All Content and Settings’ bar. After this, your phone will restart. On starting up, select your language and region, and set up the Wi-Fi connection.

·           When setting up your iPhone, select ‘Restore from iCloud Backup’ from the three options available. Then enter your iCloud username and password.

·           The restore setup will start and once it is complete, your phone will reboot. One starting up, your photos will start downloading to your Camera Roll.

Recovering Photos Using iTunes

ITunes creates a backup of all of your photos when you connect it to your computer. If you have lost some important photos from your iPhone then this is easiest and most reliable method of reproducing them. The process requires you to connect your iPhone to the computer you usually synchronize it with and follow these step.

·           On your system, go to Device in the File menu and click Restore from Backup option.

·           After clicking the option, your phone will start restoring all the deleted photos and at the end it will reboot. On restarting, you will be able to find all the photos in your phone’s gallery.
