Previously we’ve discussed about the common problems that may arise while updating iOS. In this article we will discuss the things you should do after updating to a new iOS. You may need to restore data such as contacts, notes, calendar, music, photos to your device; transfer data from the PC/Mac or you may need to speed-up new device after its update. We hope these tips will come in handy:


Restore iPhone/iPad/iPod touch After iOS 8 Update


In case you lose any data after updating to iOS9, don’t worry at all. You can easily restore your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch content on PC/Mac to your device using iTunes, iCloud or IOtransfer.


Restore from iTunes:


1. Connect your device to the computer, and launch iTunes.

2. Click on Devices tab, and choose "Restore from Backup".

3. Choose the backup that you want to restore from, and click "Restore".


Restore from iCloud:


1. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Tap "Erase all content and settings".

2. In the Setup Assistant, proceed to "Set up your device", tap Restore from a Backup, then sign in to iCloud.

3. Proceed to "Choose backup", then choose the recent backup from a list of available backups in iCloud.

Instead of using iTunes or iCloud, you can use IOTransfer to restore or copy contents data you saved on PC/Mac to your device smoothly.


How to Speed Up iPhone/iPad/iPod touch After iOS Update


If you use an older device, you must’ve noticed that your device may be a little bit slow after update. To overcome speed issues on beloved iPhone 5, iPhone 4s or even older iPhone, we recommend you to do these things after updating iOS.

 

- Close Running Apps.

- Disable and refresh background apps.

- Clear Safari cookies and data.

- Disable Location Services.

- Get Rid of Unused Apps.

- Disable Notification Center Options.

- Delete unnecessary songs, photos, videos, and messages.

- Restart the iPhone completely.
