It’s been a while since Apple has launched iPhone SE, the much improved version of 5S. Previously we've discussed about the main difference between iPhone SE and iPhone 6S . This time we’ve decided to list the pros and cons of iPhone SE so that in case anyone is planning to buy this device, this article will be a good resource to understand more about the device.

Pros

A9 chip:

This guarantees powerful processing and graphic performance similar to iPhone 6S

RAM:

iPhone SE comes with 2GB RAM, which we can say is future proof.

Compact Design:

Some may consider it as a con, but this design is ideal and comfortable to use the iPhone even with one hand.

12MP Rear Camera:

iPhone SE comes with 12MP rear camera that support Live Photos.

Battery Life:

User tests and benchmarks indicates the battery performance of iPhone SE outperforms both iPhone 5S and iPhone 6S.

4k Recording:

Yes, you have record super crisp high definition / 4K videos on iPhone SE

Other notable pros: Apple Pay support, Retina Flash

Cons

Front Camera:

1.2MP front camera/face time camera is really a downside of iPhone SE

No 3D Touch support:

Another downside considering how awesome this feature is on iPhone 6S or 6S Plus.

Old version of Touch ID:

This is okay but not fast as the latest generation of Touch IDs Apple implemented on its new phones.

Too small display:

Debatable topic, some say it’s ok but not a pleasent feature for people who come from bigger sized iPhones.

Other notable pros:  No OIS (optical image stabilization).
