Step 1 and Step 2 are the same as that in Method 1 above.

Step 3: Go to MANAGE window >> Click Camera Roll or Albums or other folders under Photos

Step 4: Check the box before Select All or choose the photos you want to transfer to your PC for backup>>click Export to open the window of “Browse For Folder”>> choose the folder you prefer>> click the OK button to start the transfer.

Step 5: After the transfer is completed, you will see the following window, in which you can click the View files button to check the photos on your computer, or click the OK button to close the window.

Note: as you see, there is an extra feature available on the window: Delete from iOS device after transfer. If you want to delete the photos on your iPhone to free up more space, you can check the box before the option. If you want to keep the photos on your iPhone as well, you just need to leave this option unselected.
