People find it hard and complicated to change or delete or reset their apple IDs. Hence, I've decided to cover this topic so that everyone can instantly get help in issues regarding their Apple IDs.

What is Apple ID:

Apple ID is a sort of your digital existence inside the Apple world. You use this id to download apps from app store, use FaceTime services, Apple's online stores and support community. It also includes using iCloud services, iTunes store and everything other thing related to Apple.

How to change Apple ID:

Apple ID is the doorway to a universe of Apple's services.

A lot of users run into trouble with their apple IDs. It may be anything, you forgot your password or the Email address, or you want to change the Email address for your apple ID. This article is helpful for you if you are looking to find solutions of the following issues:

You want to change the Email because the current Email address is no longer accessible for you. (Or any other reason)

You want to log out your device from the current apple ID and log in with another one. For example, when your friend's apple ID is logged in and you want to log in with yours.

How to change Email address of your Apple ID:

1. First, you need to log out all applications from the current apple ID, just to be safe.

2. Log into your apple ID account page to get access to settings and other features.

3. Go to account section and click on the Edit button. You will find "Change Email Address" option under the Apple ID.

4. You may be asked one or two of the security questions you set up when creating the account, you might have to recall them.

5. Enter your new Email address, make sure that it's in a valid Email format and that Email is not used by any other Apple ID. An Email can be used for only one Apple ID.

6. Log into your email inbox, you will have a new mail from Apple, inside will be a verification code. Enter that code at your Change Email Address section to authenticate the change permanently.

7. Sign in back to all your Apple apps, now with the new Email address.

Log in with a different Apple ID:

iCloud:

On your Apple iOS device, goto "Setting--> iCloud", log in with the new apple ID if you're not already logged in.

If you're already logged in with another Apple ID, scroll down and click on "Sign Out".

Note that you won't be able to use the data that was derived from the old previous iCloud account. You will have to decide whether to save the data on your iPhone or discard it.

Enter your password to sign out.

Now your settings--> iCloud section will show option to sign in, enter your new apple ID and password.

Messages and FaceTime:

Go to "settings--> Messages", click on "Send and Receive".

Click on your Apple ID and then click on sign out.

Click on "Use your Apple ID for iMessage", enter apple ID and password.

Note: Same method goes for FaceTime.

iTunes, App Store and iBooks:

Go to "settings--> iTunes and App Store".

Click on your Apple ID and select the sign out option. If you are already signed out, you can directly click on Sign in option.

Once you're signed out, tap on Sign In and enter your new apple ID and password.
