Step 1: Sign in your YouTube and click the icon of your account in the top right corner.

Step 2: Click Creator Studio. You will find Video Manager which shows on the left side, then click it.

Step 3: All your videos are listed here. Choose the video which you want to add background music to and click the drop down button besides Edit.

Step 5: The music is located below the video. You can choose Top Tracks or All Tracks by clicking the drop down button. Or you can search the music you like in the Search box.

Step 6: You can select the right music by clicking the drop down box of Genre, Mood and Duration.

Step 8: The music bar shows at the bottom of the video. You can place the music at any position by dragging the music bar or adjust the music length by moving the pointer after putting it either at the end or the beginning of the music. There is an Audio Saturation on the right of the video, just drag it to choose a desired audio effect.
