How To Repair a Broken iPhone 5

Here's how to repair / replace your iPhone 5 screen.

1. OVERVIEW OF ASSEMBLY: In order to measure the extent of the damage, you need to remove the protector from the screen. Try to remove it with great care. Your little miss handling may increase your loss.

2. SWITCH OFF YOUR iPHONE: You have to be sure that your phone is powered off. After confirmation remove the screws near the lightening connector.

3. OPEN THE PHONE THROUGH ISCLACK: Before you open it you required a special opener called isclack. You have to hold your broken screen iPhone carefully before the opening procedure. Isclack has the capability to open iPhone safely without more damage.

4. SUCTION DISK PLACEMENT: In order to pull the screen out, a suction disk is placed over the home button of the phone. Care must be taken for its position. Your phone screen should be free of air bubbles as with in the protector.

5. REMOVE SCREEN WITH CONSTANT FORCE: You have already placed a suction plate over your damaged phone screen. Now just apply a constant force to open the phone. This fit is little tighter, require your attention and concentration.

6. REMOVE SECURING SCREWS OF BATTERY: After removal of screen, you have to separate metal battery from your phone. This can be only possible by removing the screws through screw driver. After that, remove the metal battery connector from the iPhone.

7. REMOVAL OF THE FRONT PANEL SCREWS: You just need to open screws to get access to the front panel. Now loft the display cable upward and remove it from the phone. Always use a plastic separator, as it causes no more damage.

8. DISCONNECT THREE MAIN ASSEMBLIES: Three main assemblies in the mobile are Digitizer cable, Front cable and the front camera. Disconnect all the three assemblies inside your phone.

9. REMOVE FRONT PANEL ASSEMBLY AND EARPIECE SPEAKER: As you already remove the screws now, you can separate the front assembly from the casing. In order to remove earpiece speakers you need to unscrew the corresponding screws. Later on you can easily separate the earpiece chip and speaker from the phone.

10. REMOVE FRONT FACING CAMERA AND SENSOR CABLE: In order to remove the front facing camera a plastic opener is required. With the help of the plastic opener you can easily remove the front facing camera and microphone assembly.

11. REMOVE THE HOME BUTTON FROM ASSEMBLY: Now in the next step, you will find two securing screws for the home button. To separate the home button from the assembly you need to unscrew the screws. Later on, you will be able to reinsert a new home button to the assembly.

12. REMOVE LCD FRAME AND SHIELD PLATE: The last and final step is to remove the LCD frame and shield plate by using a plastic opener. This can be only possible after the removal of securing screws.  After that, you can easily separate a LCD frame and shield frame from the display assembly.

If you have followed all these steps, you can be able to re-insert a new iPhone 5 screen to the bare assembly. You just need to re-follow these steps from bottom to the up.  Before you change the broken screen, care is necessary. Your little carelessness may create a big trouble for you.
