Method 1 Check App Update

If the problem - Facebook not loading on iPhone - comes out, it might be caused by some sort of bug in the App itself and in this case, the Facebook team may fix it by releasing an update.

Go to check it in the App Store and see whether there is any update available for Facebook.

Go to App Store > tap on Update to check.

Method 2 Restart Facebook App

This might sound too simple but it often works out especially when you are stuck in the loading screen.

Double-tap on Home button, navigate to the page of Facebook App and swipe up to shut it down.

Launch the App again to see whether it works.

Method 3 Uninstall and Reinstall Facebook App

If Method 2 doesn’t help, you should consider uninstalling the App and reinstalling it again because sometimes, the App’s data is not downloaded in a complete way and in this case, glitches can occur.

Long-press the Facebook App’s icon on the iPhone screen > tap on the displayed icon “x” to delete the App > go to App Store to download and install it again.

Method 4 Clean Your iPhone

Do you feel the iPhone is too slow and it spends minutes to open an App?

Cookies, cache, and junk files generated by Safari browsing and App use can be clogged up on your device which drastically slows it down. So, Facebook App can keep loadings and won’t work anymore.

To clear Safari cache and cookies. Follow the steps below.

1.       Go to Settings.

2.       Tap on Safari.

3.       Tap on Clear History and Website Data. When the notification to let you confirm pops up, tap on Clear to get it done.

Method 5 Change DNS Settings on iPhone

If Facebook doesn’t work on iPhone, it might be caused by network problems. One of them is that the DNS is not properly set.

Change the DNS to Google DNS or OpenDNS to have a try.

(Google DNS: 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4)

Go to Settings > WLAN > target the Wi-Fi your device is connected to > tap on “!” beside the Wi-Fi’s name to reset the DNS.
