It’s been a while since Apple officially released iOS 10.3. This iOS 10.3 update comes with some great updates and features including a new Apple file system (APFS). Very soon, Apple released and pushed iOS 10.3.1 update with some bug fixes and the security improvements of iPhone & iPad (Need iPhone/iPad manager?).

Update to iOS 10.3.2 Beta

iOS 10.3.2 Beta 2 now is available. No new feature added, this iOS update fixes bugs of iOS 10.3.1 and offers some minor performance improvements. Considering it’s still beta version, Apple does not push the iOS update notification to all users. If you are interested in, go to Apple Developer Center and download iOS 3.2 beta 2.

What is worth mentioning, iOS 10.3.2 still offers support to 32-bit applications although the matter that Apple entirely drops 32-bit app support is becoming a certainty. It is believed that Apple will implement the project with iOS 11 update release this fall.

Currently, the following iOS devices support the latest iOS 10.3.2 update:

iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6/Plus, iPhone 6s/Plus, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone SE, iPad 4, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro, iPad mini 2, 3, 4 and iPod Touch 6.

*Just make sure you know how to update to iOS 10.

Go to Settings > General > Software Update

How to Downgrade from iOS 10

Although iOS 10 brings some great updates and features, some iOS 10.3 users are still not satisfied with iOS 10 update. They want to completely delete iOS 10 from iPhone and reinstall iOS 9, and are looking for feasible ways to make it happen.

How to downgrade from iOS 10? How to downgrade to iOS 9?

The fact is that iOS 9 (including iOS 9.3.3, iOS 9.3.5 and etc.) is no longer signed by Apple. So, downgrade to iOS 9 is basically impossible. Besides, Apple has also stopped signing iOS 10.2.1 and iOS 10.3 following the official release of iOS 10.3.1.

To encourage users to keep their iOS software up-to-date, Apple stops signing older versions of iOS system software updates after new release comes out.

That’s say, iOS 10.3.1 is the only public version of iOS 10 that is available and can be installed. We have tested. If you have an iOS 9 backup and you want to restore from this backup, iTunes will inform you that your files can be restored, but the iOS 9 system version cannot be reinstalled.

For all users, if you are still looking for a way to downgrade to iOS 9. Just forget it. Apple ends iOS 9, iOS 10, and iOS 10.2.1 signing on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, so there is no way to downgrade from iOS 10. The only thing now you can do is to get used to iOS 10 as soon as possible.

It won’t be long before Apple releases iOS 11, which may comes with more exciting features and updates. Now, you can take a look at iOS 11 new feature, and be prepared to update to iOS 11.
